Knowing Your Power

Look at her. So bright, so creative, so unaware. She will change the world, but she doesn’t know it yet. She only hears her parent’s criticism. She only sees her classmate’s rude stares. She is not aware of the power she holds. She radiates energy and light when she walks in a room, only to sit in a corner and not speak a word. If only she’d open that mouth of hers, and show herself just how brilliant she is. Insecurity has proven to be her greatest weakness. But she is so brave. When she realizes her full potential, she will be extraordinary. Look at her.
