It is okay to let go. It is okay to forget. It is okay to move on—because the warm hues of true happiness can only seep through the souls of the free. I was once trapped, held captive by the longing for a rewind button. But I wanted to be okay. I prevailed and came out of free. I prevailed and redefined my self worth, my understanding of who I am amongst this world of insanity. I had come to a safe haven of peace. I no longer sulk in self-loathing and confusion. I have become a free self. I have become myself. And it is okay to be myself.
