I am more than “Are Your Parents Legal?”

I am not what you think I am.

Yes, I am Latina, and I am proud.

Yes, I can speak Spanish along with three other languages.

No, you don’t have to explain it again, thank you.

Yes, my parents are legal.

In fact they built up my everything from scratch and inspire me more

than anyone ever has or ever will.
