Floating
That water, it numbs you
At peace with what’s true
That water,
a hypnotizing blue
Letting the waves take me where they wish
That cerulean sea,
under its waves filled with fish
Emotions never astray,
those waves save me,
keeping them at bay
When I consider changing my ways
or simply floating here
Letting time pass,
year by year
In this sapphire ocean,
which swallows any tear
I realize nothing hurts in water so clear
Where you don’t have to care
Worries dissolving into air
I’m no longer aware I’m lost,
but it’s okay
I choose to stay
