I want to live in a world where I can cry when I feel sad — no ‘being brave’ to stop the tears from flowing.
I want to live in a world where every girl knows she is loved. I want the girl to spin around the sun and back again in a waltz that never ends.
I want to live in a world where I can sit in my personal space bubble without ever
having to refill it after someone popped it.
I want to live in a world where no one has to risk their life.
I want to live in a world where I don’t have to justify every action with a reason.
I want to live in a world where a woman never doubts how much she feels.
I want to live in a world where every melody has a purpose.
I want to live in a world where there are no scars to prove that men take advantage.
I want to live in a world where death is my greatest fear. (Because it scares me that it isn’t.)
I want to live in a world where the soles of my feet are rough year round.
I want to live in a world where no mother values her son more than her daughter. And no daughter continues the tradition.
I want to live in a world where police officers have the best intentions.
I want to live in a world where there is never any question if there is enough room for two people to exist.
I want to live in a world where no child goes to school hungry and no child counts calories.
I want to live in a world where hurt people feel no push to hurt more people.
I want to live in a world where girls are not chased by boys and women are not followed by men.
I want to live in a world where every daughter has desires and dreams that she never gives up on.
I want to live in a world where every human can look back on their life and be proud of what they made.
