nothing is stronger

than your human heart

breaking into a million tiny pieces

and still somehow beating

so cry

cry out every single rejection, 

every single mistake,

every single missed chance.

let them fall like raindrops against your window

and shatter into tinier and tinier pieces

until your face is wet and your throat is dry

and everything seems okay again

so cry 

but do not bleed.
