Letter to My Younger Self

By Abby Raphael, TIWP Student

Do not change who you are for other people. Be the best you and no one else. School will get harder and friends change, but stay true to yourself because the people who really matter are those who love you for who you are: not a social-media-modified version, not a version more appealing to boys, just you. Hang out with those who you truly like and do the things that make you happy. School goes by fast so don’t stress the little things. Keep listening to Taylor Swift, playing sports, and learning. Middle school will be hard but once you get out you’ll really value the lessons that you learned, no matter how unbearable it was to learn them. In the end, everything will be okay.
