Annabelle woke up one morning to find that her garden had grown huge during the night. She was walking through forests of daisies and tulips, when she saw a small creature almost like a cat, but it had tiny legs and giant ears and it was …blue. They locked eyes with each other for a moment, but then the creature started sprinting away. The little girl followed it, passing by all the plants, but taking a closer look at them, she noticed they all had windows and doors. Other creatures, all different shapes and sizes, poked their heads out and hid as she passed by. Annabelle was so surprised that she almost forgot that she was following the strange cat. Finally, the creature stopped to open a door into a giant pumpkin, with muffled music playing out of it. The girl cautiously followed it to see that inside there was what seemed like a dance party, with creatures dancing to music. She looked around to find the source of it and saw that it was played by a red bear with a dog tail and a pink owl with hummingbird wings. The creatures slowly turned and pointed, shocked, as Annabelle tried to quickly pass through. She was finally able to leave the pumpkin and started running to where she thought was home, but quickly got lost. She was losing hope of finding her way back, when she noticed an orange frog with horse legs gesturing her to follow. They walked for what seemed like forever, when she finally saw smoke coming from a chimney. Annabelle thanked the frog and started running in that direction as fast as she could, getting a better view of her house the farther she went, with her parents searching for her. She ran up the porch stairs and jumped into her mother’s arms. As they walked into the house together, Annabelle took a quick look back to see that the garden was its normal size again and all the creatures had disappeared.
