I wish that the crumbling ground we walk upon will stay steady no matter how we tread upon it.
I wish that we could have strengthened each other in times of darkness instead of tearing each other down.
I wish for trust and hope between us.
I wish for what we could have been instead of what we are.
I wish for a second chance.
I wish for all that is broken to be repaired.
I wish for someone to break the silence.
I wish for you to laugh again, fill that endless silence with your voice.
I wish for you to come back to me.
I wish that you will forgive me.
So as I sit by your grave, I plead to you, wherever you are, know that I will always wish upon your star.
