Excerpt From My Thoughts

By Annabelle Kennedy, TIWP Student

I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow. WHY ISN’T THERE SNOW IN SAN FRANCISCO? IT’S WINTER! 😦 I want to see frogs again. I should write more. This reeaalllyyy is a nice warm day we have here. Hey, can you pass the salt? Anyways, where was I? Oh, yes the candles, we should really light those. Should I start a book that I’ve read a hundred times from the beginning or skip to this one specific part that I always forget to mark the page for? Should I eat the last of the sausages, scream into my pillow, indulge in my desire to call someone an intellectually ambiguous bagel? WAIT, WHY IS THERE HAIL ON THE GROUND?! THIS ISN’T SNOW! DO BETTER! It was really cold this afternoon at school, Mom.

AAA  AAUGHGHH HHN I NEED WRITING IDEAS WHERE HAVE YOU GONE MY BRAIN IS SO EMPTY??? Oh, yeah, writing class was really good! I want to go to the pool today. Wait, I don’t, it’s the middle of *WINTER* I have to finish my scarf. *random computer static* Oops, I should probably sit up, I’m slumping in my seat for the hundredth time without even knowing that I’m doing it! I like plants. Plantsplantsplantohyeahandfrooogggss – wait should I post my poetry tonight on Instagram? Yes, yes I should. That’s a good idea, Annabelle. My shoulders are really sore. Agh, this backpack is so heavy, and I have SO MANY BOOKS.
