I saw my mother’s face light up as she bit into one of the cookies I made her.
I saw my sister, exhausted from a long day at work and hungry for dinner.
I saw my dog missing my brother, searching for him around the house as he was out of town.
I saw my dad excited to talk to me about the new season of our favorite show.
I saw a little kid curious about what topping would taste best at the yogurt store.
I saw my friend scared for her life as she drove in the car with me for the first time.
I saw my brother groggy from a long nap as he emerged out of his dark room.
I saw my other two best friends filled with joy as we embraced in a hug.
I saw my tennis coach’s pride as I finally hit the ball the way he wanted me to.
I saw friendliness in the eyes of the barista at my favorite coffee shop as he recognized me and knew just what drink to make.
I saw myself looking back in the mirror, happily carrying with me all of these memorable interactions.
